Mousetrapper Type Midi: compact keyboard with numeric keypad
Many compact keyboards leave out the numeric keypad. This saves space, but is less practical if you frequently enter numbers in Excel, accounting software, invoices or other applications. The Mousetrapper Type Midi combines both: a full numeric keypad in a compact design that is only 370 mm wide.
Thanks to its narrower design, you can position your mouse closer to your body. This means you do not have to move your arm as far sideways while working. This makes the Type Midi an interesting choice if you want to work more ergonomically without giving up the numeric keypad.
Compact, with numeric keypad
At 370 mm wide, the Type Midi is narrower than many standard keyboards while still providing a full numeric keypad.
Wireless or wired
Connect via Bluetooth, the included 2.4 GHz USB receiver or a USB-C cable. A USB-A adapter is included.
Adjustable keyboard angle
Four fold-out feet at the front and back provide an elevation of 5 or 8 mm. This allows you to adjust the position to suit your working posture and personal preference.
3 to 4 months of battery life
With normal use, the battery lasts approximately 3 to 4 months, so you do not need to charge the keyboard constantly.

Is the Mousetrapper Type Midi an ergonomic keyboard?
The Type Midi is particularly interesting from an ergonomic perspective because of its compact width. Despite having a numeric keypad, it is only 370 mm wide. This allows you to position your mouse closer to the keyboard and closer to your body. You do not have to move your arm as far sideways, which can reduce strain on your shoulder and neck muscles. How do I connect the Mousetrapper Type Midi to my computer?
You can connect the keyboard in three ways: via Bluetooth, the included 2.4 GHz USB receiver or a USB-C cable. An adapter is included for a standard USB-A port. No additional software is required.
How long does the battery last?
With normal use, the battery lasts approximately 3 to 4 months. You can also use the Type Midi while connected with the USB-C cable.
Can I adjust the angle of the keyboard?
Yes. There are four fold-out feet on the underside, both at the front and at the back. These allow you to raise the keyboard by 5 or 8 mm and adjust the position to your preference. With the feet folded in, the keyboard is 15 mm high.
What is the difference between the Mousetrapper Type Midi and Type Mini?
The main difference is the numeric keypad. The Type Midi has a separate numeric keypad and is therefore suitable if you regularly enter numbers. The Type Mini does not have a numeric keypad and can therefore be even more compact. View the Mousetrapper Type Mini.
